Colorado Girls Adventure

Britta and I headed out to Colorado last week to visit some good friends and my brother! We had a great time... Here are a few pics from our adventure!

 Digging through my purse was especially entertaining! Lesson Learned: Britta knows how to unzip anything. Be careful what you carry around in your bags!

Showing off her fine motor skills of putting the pen cap on and off... on and off... hours of fun and enjoyment I tell ya!

And of course attempting to put on my sunglasses. This picture was taken directly prior to the meltdown that occured when I had to take them away from her when she almost bent them in half. Lesson learned: Never let a baby play with your glasses. You will not be able to get them back without a fight. 

 

Britta and Nora. This picture just makes me laugh.

Nora: "Oh Boy- this girl is younger than me and bigger than me and trying to steal my chair? It's gonna be a long few days...."

Bathtime! This picture truly shows their size difference! Nora is a peanut and Britta looks like a 2 year old!

And gentle pats-like this (with Britta saying "HIIIIIIII BABY" She thought Nora was a baby because she was so much smaller than Britta).

And then it ended like this.... Happy hugs.... UNTIL....... Britta held on just a little too long...  and got a little nip from her friend!

The girls had a blast swimming in the neighborhood pool (Nora is a FISH! She dunked herself every chance she got... Britta wasn't so brave in the water. But she still loved it!)

And lots of fun in the kitchen, eating together!

And then we got to see Uncle Korey!! What a fun day! We went to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate his birthday! Doesn't he just look like a doctor? What a smart guy :)

Then we played at the sweet Park Meadows Mall where they have all sorts of fun things for kids!

And when I came out of the mall, I saw mountains! Just right there- across the parking lot. BEAUTIFUL!

While Nora was sleeping, I totally "borrowed" her chair! Man- I love having a chair that is "JUST RIGHT" for me!

I love Colorado! What a fun time to hang out with my friends and my uncle! Thanks everyone for such a great trip! I'm for sure coming back again!!

Friends of Summer

Britta has had lots of play dates with friends this summer. Thankfully she willingly goes to sleep at other friends houses so her mommy and daddy can stay up late and play games with their friends!

Ben's friends from college came to visit with their kids! Britta loved to play with the "big kids."

Girl Cousins

 Britta likes hanging out with Noelle these days because then she gets to "be the boss."

So she decided to show her how the baby carrier works...  

...which was great until Noelle wanted to grab the carrier.... You can tell that Britta need to work on "sharing" a little bit more.... 

So she decided it'd be more fun to play by herself....

I think Mari is having a little more fun than Britta! Ha!
