8 Months Old

Happy 8 Months Baby! We had to resort to holding the sign because..... ...This is what was happening....
....And this.....
Ah well... what a wonderful little 8 month old we have! We are so thankful for this little girl...
Love you Britta!
This is how we spent our day today....
Sharing toys with her new friend...

Maybe giraffes like to read???
I love my friend....
Now I have someone besides Mommy to stare at all day!

Christmas Fun

Britta's first Christmas! She was a wonderful girl the whole weekend and loved every part of the Christmas traditions. First, we went to the Christmas Eve Service at church so the girls got all dressed up.
Even baby Noelle made it to church that night! And then of course, the next morning Britta got to open all sorts of presents! She loved that part....She especially loved the squeaky bag....And the tasty wrapping paper.....And more wrapping paper.... And chewing on her new socks....
And her puffs....
And basically anything she could shove in her mouth.
And don't forget her new baby doll from Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Leafblad. And the squeaky box....And her Britta-size giraffe (She is talking to him in this picture!)
And she can even ride on her new giraffe (It can hold up to 140 pounds!! HA!)
And of course, sometimes the bags and empty boxes make the most fun toys!

And back to church one more time on Sunday.... Check out my two bottom teeth!
What a big girl she is!

Christmas Time

We've been enjoying some snowy days at home. The other day I realized that I don't have a picture of Britta with me (MOM!) since she was a few months old since I'm usually the one with the camera! So here are a few fun pics from around our house this Christmas season!
My silly girl. We laugh all day long together :)
Cute new stocking for the little babes....
Kiss for Britta....
Kiss for Mama. She just opens her mouth and goes "AHHHHH" when she kisses. I love it. It's so silly.....
Our little family!
Britta Sandwich!
We had to carry on the tradition from my childhood for Britta, so we are eating the chocolates for her. As a kid, I used to think the chocolate was SO YUMMY, and now that I'm older, I agree with Ben..... It tastes like rubber :) haha
I was shocked that she didn't complain at all when I put her in her snow suit! In fact, this was her face....
What a joyful little girl....

Twins Time Yet?

"Is it April yet? I'm ready for spring training... Come on Twins! One of these years you have to make it farther than the first round of the playoffs!! Maybe this will be the year with me cheering for you!!!"

hahaha... Look at how huge her head looks on her tiny body! haha
" Ok- enough of this! I'm done with you laughing at me!!"

Riverdance Prodigy and the Giggler

Riverdance could very likely be in Britta's future with these moves!

We have a major giggler on our hands. First of all- she loves the "Where's Britta?" game... Makes her giggle every time.

Secondly, she laughs so hard when you look away and then suddenly look back at her and "scare" her. The picture is sideways and off centered, but the giggles are awesome. (I was trying to aim the camera while still looking at her!)

Pilgrims and Santas!

Our little pilgrim! She didn't care at all that we put this hat on her. What a funny little girl!!
The two pilgrim children that we found at the restaurant (Britta and Mari!) Britta's Thanksgiving Meal- Sweet Potatoes and Turkey! She loved it! Britta LOVED meeting Santa!
"Who is this curious Grandfatherly man holding me??"
