Home again!

We are home with our little baby and it's good to be home. We came home on Monday afternoon and Britta has adjusted really well! She figured out her days and nights for the most part, so she is really alert during the day. She loves to cuddle and we love that too! Here are some more pics!

Introducing Britta Kristine Schmidt

After 9 months of getting ready...Britta Kristine Schmidt is now here! She was born on Sunday, April 25th at 1:21am. She was 6lbs 12oz and 20.5in long! We came home from the hosptial this afternoon and everyone is doing great!! We'll see how the first night at home goes!

Not Much Longer!

9 days until our due date! It won't be long now! I walked for a mile this morning, 3 miles around Calhoun this afternoon, and now I'm going to drink a huge glass of sweet tea from McD's- I figured after walking that much, the baby and I deserve a little treat.... maybe sweet tea and a little banana cake to top it off!

Nesting

While "nesting" for the baby, we found this little nest of our own in the microwave vent heading to the roof. Needless to say we have a nice new microwave completely installed...complete with a baby food quick button!!
